Mode Operation
All drum filters are based on the same concept.
The construction occurred on the most modern 3D-CAD systems and it base was for modular design, and manufacturing with highest one Precision, quality and long life span.
Only by the flexibility of laser guts machines it is to us to create successfully, a drum construction, on to smallest possible space a maximum flow amount and capacity allows.
Besides, became special value on excellent and careful removal of suspended matter laid, before to itself this in the water to be cleared can chop up. Connected at the outlet side ones biological filters are loaded by far more slightly
The sequence of operations in our fully automatic rotary drum filter is very straightforward, indeed. The most important component of the rotary filter is a drum rotating inside a filter case. This drum is covered with a filter screen. Polluted water is fed directly into the drum through an inlet duct. The drum is sealed against the filter case. As a result, water can leave the drum through the filter screen only. Dirt particles are held back by the screen, while the cleaned water is fed from the filter
case to subsequent filter stages.
The particles left on the filter screen will eventually clog the screen and thus reduce the amount of water reaching the filter case from the drum interior. This will result in water level differences between the filter case and the drum interior. When this difference reaches a certain point, the electronic control system will start a flushing operation.
During the flushing process, the drum is turned, with spray nozzles cleaning the screen with water sprayed at high pressure onto the drum from the outside. The drum interior features a dirt outlet trough located near the spray nozzles.
The particles are now flushed from the screen into the outlet trough. It is from there that are they fed into the sewage system or into a seepage pit.
The essential advantage of this principle results from the effect of the water level difference. This difference constitutes the degree of filter clogging. Thanks to a special device measuring the differences in water level, it is possible to trigger the flushing operation only when there is a genuine need for it. Consequently, filtration by a rotary filter is extremely efficient and saves energy.
